QuoteCraftStudio.ca — App Development Terms & Risk Notice Terms version 1.0.1; effective 2026-10-12 Who these terms cover These App Development Terms apply to the apps, HTML files, APK downloads, source materials and website supplied by the operator of QuoteCraftStudio.ca (QuoteCraft Studio, we or us). The protections below cover the operator, authors, developers and contributors in connection with these materials. Third-party products remain subject to their own terms. Using AI development tools does not mean their providers operate, endorse or guarantee this website. Development software — use at your own risk These materials are development and learning software. They may be incomplete, contain bugs, produce incorrect results, stop working or be incompatible with your device. Downloading, installing, executing, modifying or relying on them can cause data loss or corruption, device or system malfunction, security or privacy incidents, unexpected network or service charges, or other loss. Review permissions, back up important files, protect signing keys and test in a safe environment before use. Do not use these apps for emergency, safety-critical or other purposes where failure could cause injury or serious damage. Children must use the apps under a parent or guardian’s supervision. Your choices and responsibilities You are responsible for your decisions to download, install, use, modify, build upon, share or deploy these materials; your own code and content; backups and device security; required permissions; and compliance with applicable laws and third-party rights. Check all outputs before relying on them. You accept the risks of your voluntary use to the extent permitted by law. These materials are not professional legal, medical, financial or security advice, or a guarantee that a device or file is safe. Permission to learn, modify and build To the extent we own the necessary rights, we permit you to use, copy, study, modify, build upon and redistribute our original app code and materials, including in your own projects. Keep this notice and applicable attribution with redistributed copies, identify your modifications, and do not imply our endorsement or promise support on our behalf. This permission does not grant rights to third-party code, services, brands, media, data or other materials; their licences and conditions continue to apply. You may not use these materials unlawfully or to harm others. Automated results and external services Where an app uses automated calculations, speech recognition, translation or AI features, its results may be incomplete, misleading or incorrect. Independently check them before acting or sharing. External websites, libraries, voices, APIs and services may have their own charges, permissions, privacy practices and terms. We do not control their availability or endorse their content simply by linking to or using them. These statements remain subject to the non-waivable rights described below. Connectivity and offline operation An HTML download or installed APK may still require internet access, browser features or external services. Offline availability depends on the particular app and device; a downloaded file alone does not guarantee it. You are responsible for checking requirements and any data or service charges before use. No warranties To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the materials are provided as is and as available, without express, implied or statutory warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, satisfactory quality and non-infringement. We do not promise accuracy, availability, security, error-free operation, compatibility, preservation of data, updates or support. HTTPS, checksums and digital signatures do not guarantee safe or correct app behaviour. No description, donation or informal help creates a warranty. Limitation of liability — important To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the operator, authors, developers and contributors disclaim liability for losses arising from access to, downloading, installation, use, inability to use, modification or redistribution of these materials, including device or property damage, data loss or corruption, security or privacy incidents, lost profits, business interruption, and indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, whether a claim arises in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise. Where liability cannot be fully excluded but can lawfully be limited, their combined total liability for these materials is limited to the greater of CAD $100 or amounts you paid us specifically for the affected app in the preceding 12 months. Optional donations are not payment for a warranty or support contract. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law. Business misuse and third-party claims If you use these materials on behalf of a business or organization, to the extent permitted by law you agree to indemnify the operator, authors, developers and contributors against reasonable losses and legal costs from third-party claims caused by your unlawful use, your infringement of third-party rights, your modifications or your breach of these terms. This does not cover their own wrongdoing or any responsibility that applicable law does not permit them to transfer to you. Rights the law protects Nothing here excludes or restricts non-waivable consumer rights, mandatory warranties, liability for fraud or wilful misconduct, or any other liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded or limited, including for death or personal injury where such a restriction is prohibited. You are responsible for your own conduct; this agreement does not make you responsible for someone else’s legally non-transferable obligations. If a provision is unenforceable, it applies only to the lawful extent and the remaining provisions continue where permitted. Acceptance, changes and contact Read these terms before deciding whether to proceed. An unchecked acceptance box and an I agree and continue button are presented before app use or downloads through this website. If you do not agree, do not download or use the materials. You must be legally able to enter this agreement, authorized to act for any organization you represent, or a parent or legal guardian accepting for and supervising a child. Material changes receive a new terms version and require a fresh acknowledgement in the website flow. Previously accepted versions remain available in release archives.
